My friend Rachel had asked me to take her family's portraits for a while now, but there were different things that got in the way. I would be crazy not to mention that she LOVES show. So when the snow for this winter finally made a real appearance with that blizzard a couple weeks ago, we finally had snow.  I got a text from her early that snowstorm morning and she exclaimed, " THIS IS THE SNOW!!!!...THIS IS OUR PICTURE SNOW!" However, it was rather unsafe  to be out on the roads at all that day and had to wait until that Saturday for their mini-session.

The forecast that day was calling for rain, and the snow had already began melting, so it wasn't the fluffy snow anymore, but more of a slush, but it was snow nonetheless.

We quickly go to out location, and though it was cold,  I was able to capture some truly sweet moments of her and her family in a matter of 28 minutes before we all froze.  I am glad to call this sweet and talented #girlboss, my friend!

Although it was cold that day...I had a great time sincerely capturing these sincere, authentic and memorable moments for the The Foust Family.

Can you believe it's April already? If you are looking  to refresh some family portraits this spring, get in touch with me to book your session

Happy Monday, Friends!
