Fifteen |Mood Board
It's MONDAY! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and here is to another great week! It's day fifteen of September and for that matter, it day fifteen of the #blogtemberchallenge with Bailey Jean of Brave Love Blog. I have not stuck with doing all the prompts, just that ones that I am interested in doing. You should join in on the fun.
Make a mood board. Are you brainstorming a room re-do, or are you dreaming of glamping with gal pals? Share a collage of any kind!
I love the colors and love the comfy-looking-ness of this couch. It's so cozy with all the pillows and throws. This is the kind of couch we are looking for to go in out small apartment living room. Imaging wrapping up in a blanket and watching a movie on that. So comfy. Now, I just need to find one like it that is in budget. (oh no, the B word...)
Photogenic Weimaraner This dog is in my future. This is such a beautiful breed and I cannot wait to own one. As an added bonus it is such a photogenic dog, I am sure I would take photos all day of it. The hubby and I know that we want a blue Weim ( the darker great one) with blue eyes, if not we'll settle for one with those beautiful tan eyes. Either way, such a beautiful dog and can't wait to have one of our own!
Quote I love this quote and it is one of the many pins on one of my boards on Pinterest. "Never forget why you started" has been a quote that has definite resurfaced many times whenever I feel like I can't hold my own in the photography industry; when a potential client doesn't show up for their consultation; when I feel like I don't have adequate equipment; and when I feel like I am getting nowhere. I just need to take a moment, sit back , and remember why I started all of this in the first place. Only then, can I refocus and move forward with reaching my goals.
Autumn Bench Well of course, fall is right around the corner. The weather has certainly been giving us glimpses of this beautiful season. Those cold nights that require wrapping up on the couch (if only i had that cozy one!) and watching a movie while sipping some pumpkin-flavored drink. The rustle of the crunchy fall leaves across the pavement. The smell of fireplaces in the neighborhood and the fall sales that are usually in the stores. I love fall. One of my favorite, if not the favorite season of mine. But, I desperately need to find more boots and sweaters before fall is officially here!
Braverman's I don't know about you but I think Parenthood is one of the best shows on tv. Every time I watch an episode, I feel like I am a part of the Braverman family. There is such raw and real emotion that exudes from the episodes and most, if not, all the episodes deal with real life situations that anyone watching can relate to. The show returns this fall and I am SO excited, but sadly, it's the last season that we will have the Braverman family in our homes.
Camera I am definitely in need of an upgrade. In fact, I can't wait. I would like to upgrade to a full-frame vs. a cropped sensor camera. I have my eye on a Canon 6D for many reasons, but that main reason is price at this point. Maybe some day I will have a Canon 5D Mk III but for now, the 6D is on my radar. I am trying my best to save up for that camera and lenses but that seems impossible with school loans, cost of living, and other expenses. But, just like that quote I need to remember why I started and work my hardest to have that camera in my hands. But for now, I will work with what I have and be content until my blessing comes!
I hope you have an awesome Monday, make sure you go and make things happen today. It's going to set the tone for your week, so make it a good one!
